Friendly Architecture
I spent my last year of university exploring ways to tackle hostile architecture in urban environments to create more inclusive spaces for communities to thrive. Through conversations with diverse communities and my understanding of design, I developed a new practice called Friendly Architecture. This practice aims to promote inclusion and solve community issues, by creating carefully designed structures that fulfill community needs.
Friendly Architecture is about gathering a community of architects who want to address the problems facing their communities. It's about changing our environments to be more inclusive and creating conversations to better our communities. It's about being friendly in the way we design.
